We welcome all our international patients to our general medicine and primary healthcare practice in Heidelberg. Our English speaking team is happy to help you with any medical issues. We can also offer our services in French.
We are general practitioners and are ready to provide help and advice for all kinds of medical problems. Furtheron we focus on preventive medical checkups and long term follow up of patients with chronic diseases. We have also specialised in travel medicine.
Among our services is:

• General health examinations for male, female and adolescent patients
• Diabetes treatment
• Travel vaccinations (we are in particular an accredited center for the administration of the Yellow Fever Vaccine)
• Child and adult immunizations.

In addition to western classical medicine, Dr Hüger is an expert in all kinds of natural remedies (naturopathie). She is an experienced, professional homeopath and specializes in acupuncture. Dr Frese on the other hand is a skillful sports physician and he has high expertise in emergencies and pain management. Karsten Schröder is a specialist for internal medicine and an expert in sonography of abdominal organs and thyroid.

Our medical practice is located in the Bergheimer Str. 134A near Heidelberg main station and therefore easily accessible by public transport.
Before your visit please contact us for an appointment even if it is on short notice (tel. 06221.21447). Like that we have enough time for you and you do not have to wait longer than necessary. Should you be unable to keep your appointment please inform us beforehand.

Our opening hours are as follows:

On weekends and in the night please call 116117 in urgent cases to reach the „Ärztliche Bereitschaftsdienst“ (general physician on call). The doctor's office is located at the Heidelberg University Hospital, Im Neuenheimer Feld 410, 69120 Heidelberg.
In medical emergencies please call 112 to get immediate help.
